A distraction-free place to jot notes, drafts, and to-do lists, with light formatting when you need it — bold, italic, underline, and bullet or numbered lists. Everything you type is saved to your browser's local storage as you go, so your text is still here when you come back — even after closing the tab. No account, no upload, and it keeps working offline.

Frequently asked questions

Where are my notes saved?
In your browser's local storage on this device. The text never leaves your computer and is not sent to any server, so only you can see it in this browser.
Will my note still be here after I close the tab?
Yes. The note persists in local storage across reloads and browser restarts. It stays until you clear it, or until you clear your browser's site data.
Does it work offline?
Once the page has loaded, yes. Saving, editing, word count, and download all run in the browser with no network connection needed.
Can I lose my note?
It can be lost if you clear browser data, use private/incognito mode, or open the page in a different browser or device. For anything important, download the .txt file as a backup.
Is there a word or character limit?
There is no fixed limit in the tool, but browser local storage typically holds a few megabytes — enough for very long documents. Extremely large notes may hit that browser cap.
Do you track what I write?
No. There is no analytics on your text, no account, and no upload. The note is yours and stays in your browser.
