How it works
- 1 Set the number of paragraphs Enter a number from 1 to 20 in the Paragraphs field. The default is 3 paragraphs, which is enough for most layout mockups.
- 2 Choose paragraph length Select Short (~50 words), Medium (~100 words), or Long (~200 words) from the dropdown. Medium is a good default for body text previews.
- 3 Generate and copy Click Generate to produce the text, then click Copy to put it on your clipboard. The word count updates automatically so you know exactly what you have.

- Short paragraphs are approximately 50 words, Medium approximately 100 words, and Long approximately 200 words. The exact count varies slightly because sentences are built to natural lengths rather than cut off mid-sentence.
- Is the generated text the same every time?
- No. Each click of Generate produces a fresh set of random sentences. The first paragraph optionally starts with the fixed classic Lorem Ipsum opening, but all subsequent sentences are randomised.
