Your data stays private

All processing happens entirely in your browser. No files, text, or data are ever sent to our servers. You can disconnect from the internet and this tool will still work.

Frequently asked questions

Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. Cropping happens entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. The image data never leaves your device.
Can I crop to a fixed aspect ratio?
Yes. Pick a preset like 1:1, 4:3, 3:2, or 16:9 and the crop box stays locked to that ratio as you resize it. Choose Free to crop to any width and height.
What output formats can I save?
JPEG, PNG, and WebP. JPEG suits photos, PNG keeps transparency and is lossless, and WebP gives smaller files at similar quality.
Does cropping reduce image quality?
Cropping itself removes pixels outside the box but does not rescale what remains, so there is no quality loss in the cropped area. Only JPEG and WebP re-encoding applies mild compression.
What image formats can I open?
Any format your browser can decode, including JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, and AVIF. If the browser can display it, the cropper can process it.
